The client wanted a formal space that was separate to the crazy kids zone in the open plan living area, for entertaining and watching TV. The brief was hotel boutqiue. The floor was already laid in white porcelain marble effect so we had to tone the space down to create the jewel like feeling of boutique luxury. The bespoke wall unit in a leather effect finish with dull gold back panels definitely oozes luxury and the added fireplace created warmth and glamour.

The gorgeous wallpaper has velvet elements and dark golden brown tones - this was the starting piece for this project as the client loved this. Yes it was expensive but it was only used on one wall and invited people in to touch and ooze warmth. Clever storage was built under the bay window in the same finish as the wall unit.
